Houston and I love telling all kinds of creative people about Purdon Groves - how we're building a place where people will be inspired to connect, celebrate, reflect and create. But this opportunity isn't just for artistic types.
Face it: we all need to occasionally step out of our normal routines. Just being in nature, away from our everyday lives, gives us a chance to either pause and reflect in solitude or, in some cases, to team up with others for the greater good.
A few days ago, our friend Matt, worked alongside Houston at Purdon Groves, cutting down a couple of trees (don't worry - our friend Danny will be repurposing the Red Cedars) and installing our new sign. For the better part of the afternoon, they set aside their technology and talked.
