EXCLUSIVE BBQ DINNER WITH PITMASTER KEVIN BLUDSO

We’re so excited to announce that barbecue legend Kevin Bludso will be our guest chef at the Purdon Groves’ Chef’s Table Experience on April 26!

Our friend and business partner, Kamar Chambers, from K&K Barbecue first introduced us to Kevin last year. We were understandably thrilled when Kevin told us he wanted to come cook dinner at the farm.

Kevin grew up in Compton, California, but spent summers in Corsicana, Texas, with his grandmother, who taught him the art of Texas barbecue.  

A few of Kevin’s credentials:

• James Beard Award winner

• Two time Steve Harvey Hoodie Award winner

• Judge on Netflix’s The American Barbecue Showdown

• Owns multiple restaurants (California, Texas, Australia)

Tickets to this one-of-a-kind event under the oaks at Purdon Groves are $200, which includes dinner (see the AH-mazing menu* below), communal seating under a gorgeous tent canopy, complementary beer and wine and door prizes of signed cookbooks and stays in the Purdon Groves’ glamping tents. But that’s not all - Kevin will bring the big pit out to the farm and cook before us, allowing our guests to interact with this barbecue legend.

As always, the free range rescue donkeys will be around to greet you, and our KuneKune pigs will be nearby to say, “Hi.” And if it’s a clear night, you’ll be in for a star-studded sky like no other.
